A caveman's father runs for Senate

Hi everyone,

I've been pretty quiet on this list, but I wanted to put something on your radar.

My father, Clark Durant, is running for U.S. Senate in the state of Michigan.  He is running an insurgency against the GOP establishment pick, a long-time career politician who is fresh off a primary loss in the 2010 gubernatorial race, and then against the Democratic incumbent, another long-time establishment figure.  They're more of the same.  Suffice it to say, it's time for a change.

I'm not requesting that anyone do anything, but I've provided some links about my father and his campaign should you be interested in learning more.  I'll think you'll find that my father believes, like I do, that the best way to criticize something is to create the alternative -- and show that it works.

Between this run and the New York City Barefoot Run in two weeks, I'm not getting much sleep, so I'm not going to be able to engage in any lengthy discussions right now.  But I'll absolutely have more to add down the road.
