Greetings Brewers!

I hope this email finds everyone well. We took a little bit of a break from our virtual meetings when things started opening back up in the hopes that we would be able to begin scheduling some in-person meetings again soon. But, that’s still not looking very likely. The good news is that many breweries started offering indoor seating beginning last week at 25% permitted occupancy. The bad news is that its unlikely a good business decision to give up any of those precious seats to a homebrew club! Meanwhile, lets get back to some virtual meetings. A huge thanks to Chuck DiSanto for arranging a meeting with Hermit Thrush (www.hermitthrushbrewery.com) out of Brattleboro, VT. Chris from HT will be joining us on Monday evening for a chat and tasting. Here’s the message he sent Chuck:

Great to hear from you. Thanks for the invitation, and I'd be happy to join the zoom and chat on Sept 14th! Of course happy to discuss beer and sour beer and the making of it. If you or other club members have an opportunity to get any fresh cans, especially of our kettle sours or Party Jamz, I could even help direct folks on how to culture up our house yeast and use it in their own sour formulation. :)

I did a little research and you can buy the HT beers he mentioned at Joe Canals Lawrenceville store. I did not find HT at the Hopewell BuyRite. Hopefully, some of us can procure one or two of these beers before Monday.
