This is just a quick letter to let you know a few needful things.
First of all, if anyone wishes to send me something, make sure that you
waterproof the contents. Putting things in plastic bags that are tied
or taped shut is a great start. Also if you have something more
durable to put the plastic bags in that won't be damaged quite as
easily at the thin platic and won't be damaged by rain, that would be
best. For example, when we pack stuff here we put it in plastic
garbage bags, tie them shut, and then put the garbage bags into rice
sacks (like gunny sacks) to protect the garbage bags. Basically, pack
them as though they were going to have to survive outside in a
hurricane. They just might have to! Also, don't list valuable items
in the contents. Corrupt people handling them may dig through them and
remove anything desireable if there's anything to draw their attention
