Hello everyone.
Well, this might come as a bit of a surprise to everyone, but I'm home
in the States now. I actually arrived back home just over a week
ago. I'm still having a little trouble readjusting to our
culture. What's making it a little easier for me is that, thus
far, I've been mostly secluded away at my parents' home because I don't
have any money of my own at the moment. I suspect that will
change a bit once I have a job and am able to get out and begin
socializing a bit more.
My time in Kemantian has led me to some significant discoveries
concerning the great controversy between good and evil, and the ways in
which God works both through us, and in us, for the salvation of
mankind. Likewise, it has led me to some rather disturbing
discoveries concerning how Satan works in this world to bring about the
ruin of this world. I'm amazed at how many aspects of our culture
here in the U.S. have their origins in demon worship, exactly like that
of the non-christian Palawanos. I would love to treat on this
subject at length, but it's late here right now, and I'll be flying to
California early tomorrow morning and will be there for the next two
weeks, so I need to get some sleep. When I have time again, I
will endeavor to delve more deeply into the statements I've made in
this email.
Thank you all for your generous financial and prayer support before I
left and while I was gone. You can't imagine how much it of it a
difference it has made in the lives of the palawanos, and it has
touched my own life as well. May the Lord bless you richly!
With love in Christ
