I SOAR!
As sure as bars won't be my prison,
Neither can the strongest chains
Constrain or threaten my decision
Bondage will not shake my claim
No bonds can hold what I have hidden
Freedoms’ wings take me to heights
Beyond where mortals yet have ridden;
Opened doors to sounds and sights
That can’t be tamed, tied down or broken
By contrivance, hand or tool
Where contemplation’s left unspoken
Lest I’m called an utter fool.
