I'm against illicit drug use with one exception; cannabis. I believe
God gave it to us for a reason and I'm here to tell you, I have a list
of them and they don't include a bunch of knot heads sitting around
trying to see how high they can get, who can't even spell the word
"was" and every other word that comes out of their mouths is the F
word. They only hinder my cause.
For years, we've been told by the federal government that they have no
way of controlling it. Well here it is! How many times have you heard
it said, "We wouldn't have a deficit if they would legalize cannabis"?
What it all boils down to is SOMEBODY is padding SOMEBODY'S pockets!
SOMEBODY stands to benefit by it being illegal and we all know who it
is!!
Let's begin with pharmaceutical companies that keep shelling out drugs
that are worse for us than our ailments, rehab centers and attorneys,
for God's sake! Give me a break!
I have been diagnosed with a.d.h.d., p.t.s.d., severe depression and
that's not to name my physical infirmities which are painful and
constant. According to my diagnostics I should be a blithering idiot
but I have evidence to the contrary and plenty of documentation to
prove otherwise.
To all you law enforcement officials, drug rehabs, etc., I am a poster
child for legalizing cannabis and you can keep me in rehab until I'm
old and grey and you die and someone else takes your places and I will
go down saying, the only reason why I am sane today is because of
God's perfect herb, illegal as it is and quite frankly, I'm sick to
death of having to do it on the sly in order to feel like a decent
human being. Had I taken all the pharmaceuticals I have been
prescribed or I am "entitled" to, I doubt I would be here at all.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. When my late husband was
diagnosed with terminal cancer and given a five percent chance of
living a year, his doctors prescribed Merinol, a synthetic form of
cannabis. Now what does that tell you? What kind of arrogance would
take something God given, perfect, that works, make it illegal, then
turn around and make a synthetic, imperfect, man-made, and dispense
that?
You talk about all your cutbacks and budget cuts, yet you keep pouring
more money into drug dogs, (more like tracking dogs like Hitler used
against the Jews) and the rest of your so called war on drugs. Use
your heads! Legalize cannabis and see what a difference it will make
in EVERYONE'S lives.
Think about it. Woodstock '69 was a half a million strong and not one
fight broke out. No one was robbed, raped or pillaged but you can't
put twenty drunks together without it leading to violence.
It's a case of displaced priorities? Well guess what. Kansas just
passed a bill that allows grocery stores to sell liquor. We need to
get more drunks out on the highways and around, since we apparently
don't have enough alcoholics to go around. Oh I get it! The more
drunks on the highways and byways, the more revenue law enforcement
can rake in!
Notice, they don't site the illegal immigrants. It's the middle class
working male they target because they know he's going to fight to keep
from going to jail in order to support his family.
It's these same people who are not allowing us the right to use it,
the same ones who are telling us what is good for us and what isn't,
who have been lying to us, philandering, selling us out to other
countries, "spending our money, contriving more laws, refusing to look
at the obvious flaws" and who got this country in the mess it's in to
begin with!?!
