Mozilla's working on getting a lot better at actually helping people
engage, stay engaged, and notice if we're doing stuff that drives
people away. If anyone who is or was a volunteer would be up for
filling this out, that'd be much appreciated, and very helpful for
making Mozilla a more enjoyable place for contributors in the
future.
Thanks,
Dan

Dear Mozillians: As you might have seen already on Twitter, Planet, etc., we've followed up on our earlier paid staff survey with a volunteer-focused one. We need your help in getting the word out + imploring contributors in your functional areas to fill it out by Oct. 21st (this includes past + present volunteers). Their feedback and perspective is *critical* in our overall audit of the contributor lifecycle and this will help inform our plans to grow Mozilla.

The aim of our audit is to get a sense of why people do or don't get involved with Mozilla, why or why they don’t complete a project, whether or not they stay, how we can make this whole process better and more. David Eaves is working with Mozilla's Contributor Engagement team to provide a set of recommendations that will help Mozilla improve the contributor experience. This volunteer survey is the most important part of his research!
