Go figure. I moved further
south in Texas and after I got settled, I got my system up and
running. Along the way, I upgraded the OS to Monterey on my 2010
mac pro, with a little help from OCLP (who are definitely flipping
the bird to planned obsolescence and folks dictating that thou
shalt not run the latest os on your aged hardware). I wasn't sure
what would break/work after doing the install, but I was
pleasantly surprise to see that everything worked (32 bit apps
excluded). I plugged in my USB-Serial Adapter and gender changer,
installed the prolific driver, edited minicom settings, hooked it
up to my PAL-1 and started a session with my PAL-1 :).
Sigh of relief :)
