Just seeing if there is a speech synthesis board out there already. It would be awesome to have a board/card using the SP0256 (or replacement?) to get "that sound" from the 70's speech synthesis.

Happy to prototype one this Fall (when my hobbies turn to the indoor variety).

I've been contemplating doing a project for the PAL around a speakjet chip. May make the coding on the PAL side a little more simple.
