Just recently assembled a PAL-1. It worked briefly, now is showing gibberish on the display screen, figured I'd ask the experts if there's error codes buried in there, or suggestions for troubleshooting!

Looks like you have bad solder points or missed some. Check and reflow.

Then check if every IC is inserted right, no bent pins or not inserted deep enough.

If after that checks it still is giving you trouble you need to measure things. 

First start with feeling if an IC is getting hot (not warm, the 6502 and 6532 will be warm).
