I just saw this interesting piece of KIM-1 equipment on eBay:

Which led me down a little rabbit hole to the instructions:

What an interesting idea - connecting all the “cheap” S-100 cards to the KIM-1.

What a crazy time for hobbyists in the late 1970s!

Wow!

They catch a hefty price these days, $690 and the auction is not over yet!

I'll stick with my PAL-1 :-)
