I've figured out how KB9 handles assembler subroutines two years ago. A little brainf*, but it works somehow. see https://netzherpes.de/post/kim-1-basic-and-the-use-of-assembler-subroutines

Basically it's poking the address of your subroutine to $2040 and $2041. and calling it with X=USR(0)

Hans recompiled a bugless version of KIM Basic called KB1.2 - and here start my problems:
USR gives me a syntax error.

Is the way USR works different in the 1.2 version or is the the memory location, where to write the start of the assembler routines somewhere else?

Have a nice weekend,
Nils
