ارے چھوڑ دو بھائی بے چارے شاہد مسعود کو -ان کو تو پہلے ہی اتنے جوتے پڑے ہیں کہ وہ عبرت کا نشان بن گئےہیں۔وہ تو اس قابل بھی نہیں رہے کہ ان کا زکر کر کے کاغز ضائع کیا جائے۔ان کے جھوٹ کا عالم  یہ ہے کہ اس بیمار عورت کو ، جو بد قسمتی ان کی بیٹی ہے پچھلے دنوں موصوف ٹوئٹر پر رحمان ملک صاحب کےسامنے دس سال کا بچّہ بنا کر پیش کر رہے تھے۔ان کی بیٹی مسمات فرزانہ شاہد  ایک ہاتھ اور پاؤں سے معزور  خاتون ہے اور  دل کی مریضہ بھی ہے۔ اس سے پہلے شاہد مسعود صاحب اس کی معزوری کی دہائی دے دے کر برطانوی حکومت سے خیرات کھاتے رہے۔ اطلاعات کے مطابق جب انھیں ایکسپریس سے اپنے کالےکاناموں کی وجہ سےٹھڈے مار کر نکالا گیا تو کوئی چینل اس کو رکھنے کے لئے تّیار نہیں تھا تو اسی خاتون کے دل کے آپریشن کے لئے رقم کی دہائی دے کر شاہد مسعود نے ایک بار پھر سلمان اقبال سے نوکری کی بھیک مانگی جو سلمان صاحب نے دو چار گالیاں دینےکے بعد قبول کرلی مگر انٹر ٹینمنٹ چینل پر جس کا خبروں سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ۔ ایک نام نہاد صحافی کے لئے اس بڑی زلّت کیا ہو گی کہ وہ ایک تھرڈ کلاس چینل پر مایہ خان جیسی -----کے ساتھ مزہبی ڈرامے بازی کرنے پر مجبور ہے۔ میرا خیال ہے شاہد مسعود صاحب کو اپنی شعبدیاں بازیوں اور ٹی وی ملازمین کے خلاف سازشیں کرنے ان کے بچوں کو بھوکا مارنےکی کافی سزا مل چکی ہے اور وہ ہمدردی کے قابل ہیں۔ علی

Both the communities like Doctors and Engineers stand by their colleagues, whether they are right or wrong. In our profession, journalist makes their colleagues accountable. this spirit should be appreciated.

     I personally believe that Malik sb should not have written this column....now. The incident he had quoted took place years back but he remained part of his team. Yes, he may have lot of grievances with dr shahid but he also had a good time with him. I know Dr Shahid when he was in JPMC and President of Peoples Doctors Forum and i was in The Star. Over the years he some how the other managed to join the than ARY Digital and i have seen his rise particularly during Iraq war. Malik sb was in ary at that time. When doctor left his mother organisation and joined GEO, i was shocked to hear his views about ARY and reasons for leaving ary. Once i told him that he should not have done this as it was unethical. When he quit geo and joined PTV as MD, i thought he committed the biggest blunder of his life particularly after what he had been saying against the PPP and Asif Zardari. Perhaps he too realized but it damage his credibility. He quit PTV or some say sacked but he came back to ARY with a bang... this time as President of ARY. I was part of that organisation and Malik sb was also there. He remained as head of the channel with hefty pkg but left the organisation for the reason best known to him and the management. His next destination was Hashwani's channel (which never aired) and Malik sb was there too. Later, he resigned or sack by Hashwani, but he joined Express News, and did his show. When i joined Express in April, he quit.

      So we all remained colleagues and have good and bad time together. What ever happened is matter of history as he joined ARY for the fourth time, this time he is doing a show from digital...from where he started his career in tv.

    I wish both Dr Shahid and Nasrullah Malik best of luck in their respective career and pray for their success.

I think the issue for which Malik sahib raise in his column was the commercialization of Islamic programs and landing of Veena Malik type element to make mockery of religious for which your organization is taking lead. The issues relating to Dr Sahib was quoted as argument or example. So we should try to discuss the real issue instead of diverting the issue, Mazhar Sahib.

It is very unfortunate that you tagged Shahid as "one of us"- This isi an insult. Most of us journalists are not pathological liars, conspirators, hypocrites and plagiarists like Mr Shahid- Thank God for this. We did not ask our juniors at Pearl Comm. to write college assignments for us on Mr Haswani's expenses (خیانت ; )We were not the ones who caused their poor colleagues lose their jobs , thanks to Shahid's conspiracies and dirty politics (,حسد ,چغلی,کینہ ).We were not the ones who stole peoples' intellectual property and sold them in our names( چوری;) We were not the ones who was misleading the nation by playing an uprigt anchor while making shameful deals with Musharraf's poodles in order to become his PTV poodle (بے ضمیری ); we were not the ones who forged our second wife's passports and abused law of this country (دھوکا دہی اور جعل سازی;) We were not the ones who converted to qadianiat just for the sake of getting British citizen ( بے ضمیری بے ایمانی , منافقت;) we were not the ones who stole British government's welfare money (which is there only for the the needy, jobless and the poor) while being in full time job with ARY Londn (خیانت, جھوٹ ); We were not the ones who spoke white lies about being Governor Ishrat-ul-bad's class fellows (جھوٹ)and offcourse we were not the ones who would shamelessly use our daughter's health issues on public forums and have a habit of using that poor woman's name everywhere for our own benefit- speaking white lies regarding her age (بے غیرتی ).
 
It is unfortunate that as journalists take pride to expose anybody else but become shamlessly diplomatic and do not dare to speak the truth in its entirety when it comes to black sheep amongst our own "rank and file". Shame..Shame..Shame-Mazhar Abbas Bhai tum poora sach kab bolo gay???

Dear Ali, I think Mazhar Saheb hasn't got the "thaika" to speak
the whole truth about everybody and everything. Besides,
he, in his own way, has already said enough on the issue-
which is atleast better than other very vocal anchors
 like Hamid Mir, Kamran Khan, Shahzeb Khanzada, Javed
Chaudhary, Absar Alam, Nusrat Javed,etc. who are playing
dumb about this grave integrity issue relating Ramadhan
Transmission on ARY Digital. Where
are the people criticising Veena Malik for doing a sacred
Ramadhan Show and why can't they see this particular culprit Shahid
Masoud? No channel should be allowed to compromise the sanctity of
Ramadhan Transmission by allowing such people contributing to
a religious/spiritual transmission.


 For now -we should thank Allah that Masoud has been put out of our
sight by all the News channels. Afterall, all we usually watch
is News. Let us hope and pray that there would be
a day in Pakistan when personal intergrity and merit would be
the first things to be considered by the employers
while employing people in media.
