The Junior Project Consultant shall be responsible for the following:
Get well acquainted with the NSER and WeT Operations Manuals, related annexes, and all
the strategic documents to understand the concept and related implementation mechanisms
for the update and transfer of responsibilities to education departments.
Assist the Team Leader in taking notes, document meeting minutes, writing field visit reports
and any other documentation support.
Provide support with the preparation and collection of information to complete the quarterly
progress report.
Conduct regular field visits to all four provinces and two regions where the NSER Update
project is undertaken either through Desk or Door to Door Approaches.
Contribute to the development of the Quarterly/ Monthly Monitoring Work Plan, ensuring
alignment with Project Objectives, deliverables and adjustments made to agreements from
time to time.
Support with the identification of sources of data, collection methods, who collects data, how
often, cost of collection and who analyzes it as guided by the Resident Consultant.
Facilitate the Team Leader in the preparation of monitoring reports along with other staff and
executing partners in preparing their reports in accordance with approved reporting formats
and ensure their timely submission. This includes quarterly reports, annual project report,
inception report, etc.
Support the Team Leader to ensure that monitoring data are discussed in the appropriate
forum and in a timely fashion in terms of implications for future action and course correction.
If necessary, facilitate the Team to create such discussion forums to fill any gaps.
Contribute to the development of various manuals required under the Projects for various
clients delineating the approach, methodology, timeframe and cost involved in the
monitoring process and conduct training of newly inducted as well as existing officers/ staff
of new Projects.
Conduct any other function and responsibility, which may be assigned by the Team Leader.
