A company which specializes in integrated logistics, air and ground transportation of timesensitive cargo, whose operation is across the Middle East, North America and Europe, requires candidates for the following position: COORDINATOR GFMS - TENDERS & BIDS (DUBAI) REF.: CDRG/AS/0509.
• Identify, evaluate and process Tenders and Bids. In-depth knowledge of GroundTransportation will be a distinct advantage.
• Coordinate Tender requirements with concerned Departments / Clients / Authorities.
• Responsible for closely following up and monitoring the Tender from inspection stage untilit has been awarded.
• Evaluate and understand the legal and technical aspects of tenders and bids.
• Maintain format of the Company’s submittals; tracking, follow-up, task lists, schedules,critical paths, traffic records and closing case files.
• Key player of the overall Planning and Coordination Team; coordinating & ensuring the execution of tasks.
• Administrate, organizes, plan, source, track & update all relevant data using providedsoftware application(s).
• Assist the Purchasing Team with suppliers, getting Performa Invoices; negotiate for betterprices & delivery period, requirements of legalized original documental for customsclearance, etc.
The position commands the following education / skills
• 4-year Degree / Diploma in Commerce / Economics.
• Minimum five (5) years work experience in a related field.
• Technical Skills (Functional & Analytical).
• Multi-tasking, scheduling and follow up.
• Ability to plan and organize work effectively (Traffic Controls).
• Computer Skills.
