Our client, an international food service supply chain company, is currently seeking a Ramp Supervisor to be based in their Afghanistan/Sudan Aviation Department. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, your primary objective is to ensure aviation operations on the ramp are executed safely and in accordance with the current Task Force Command Operations Orders (OPORD) and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGO).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the flight Contingency Operations (CONOPs - flight plansroutes) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to, in cooperation with Aviation Management.
- Serving as the Aviation Representative for the Ramp in liaising between the Aviation and necessary parties, which includes Following flight schedules daily in facilitating delivery of customer's order.
- Ensuring receipt and delivery of cargo to and from warehouse.
- Monitoring flight traffic and managing Air Control Measures (ACM).
- Providing Briefs to Aircrew and Contractor Flight Managers on current and future situations.
- Liaising with Dispatch, Warehouse and Operational staff in ensuring correct and timely cross load of cargo
- Ensuring Ramp Safety at all times. Responsible for Recording and Reports of Aviation issues AARs, Incident Reports and providing measures for improvement on the Ramp.
- Ensuring that the Ramp is kept up to standard for operation, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) is minimal, AC Maintenance schedules are followed, and Ramp is serviced accordingly.
- Notifying the Management and CSR team of any delay in scheduled flights.
- Performing a wide variety of duties as required.
