Pakistan Red Crescent Society is a statutory humanitarian organization working as an auxiliary to the Government in the field of disaster preparedness and response. PRCS has been actively providing First Aid and Pre-Hospital Emergency Care (FA & PHEC) trainings across Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to communities, government departments, corporate organizations, and development partners.

First aid is a lifesaving skill whose value is both priceless and undeniable. Promoting first aid awareness and preparedness in workplaces helps organizations ensure the safety and well-being of their employees and enables timely response during medical emergencies.

PRCS KP has a highly qualified and experienced First Aid team that delivers corporate first aid trainings through structured learning methods, including PowerPoint presentations, audio-visual aids, demonstrations, and practical exercises. Our training approach ensures that participants not only understand the concepts but are also able to apply first aid techniques effectively in real-life situations.

Key areas covered during the training include:
• Basic principles of First Aid and emergency response
• Management of injuries, bleeding, burns, and accidents
• Recognition and response to heart attack and cardiac arrest
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques
• Management of choking and airway obstruction
• Handling snake bites, scorpion stings, and other emergencies
• Wound dressing and bandaging techniques
• Safe handling and transportation of injured persons
• Management of fractures and trauma cases
• First aid response to heat stroke, electric shock, and other medical emergencies

Types of First Aid Trainings Offered:

1. First Aid Awareness Session – 01 Day (03 Hours)

2. Basic Life Support (BLS) - 01 Day (05 Hours)

3. Basic First Aid Training (without CPR) – 02 Days (10 Hours)

4. Advanced First Aid Training with CPR – 03 Days (15 Hours)

5. Refresher First Aid Training – 01 Day (07 Hours)

6. Mass Casualty Management (MCM) - 01 Day (05 Hours)

7. Simulation Exercise/Mock Drill - 01 Day (05 Hours)

First Aid Kits Provision:

PRCS KP also facilitates the provision of standardized first aid kits for different settings:

• Personal First Aid Kit
• Corporate / Office First Aid Kit
• Community First Aid Kit
• Vehicle First Aid Kit
