Greeting from SABAWON!
We appreciate your organization efforts to save our valuable assets, wetland. I am suggesting some points regarding the proposed water management courses :( it might be addressed already)
1) Community participation in wetland management for the sustainability
2) Use of indigenous knowledge management in soil conservation
3) Community based flood preparedness ,(like in Chitral local community interprets the environmental signs and signals associated with flood like changes in color of the clouds ,water flow, intensity and frequency of rainfall ,and usual sounds and unusual presence and movement of wildlife etc based on these community formulate the local strategy to save the people along the their assets )
4) Linking the Wet land management with tourism and strategy formulation
5) Working at policy level to ban the use of polythene bags that destroy ecosystem of wetland
6) Departmental integration and coordination mechanism for wetland management /collective efforts
