Dear Sir/Madam

Legal Rights Forum is a nationwide independent, not-for-profit and non-governmental organization consisting of a pool of pro bono lawyers. Since its inception LRF is working for the capacity building and development of professional skills in fresh law graduate. Founded in 2007, the organization is working for the promotion of rule of law, good governance, human rights, social justice and democracy in Pakistan. It is also dedicatedly working for the empowerment of women, ending gender base violence against women through awareness, legal aid and paralegal trainings programs.

LRF had been awarded a project on “Supporting Women to Join Law Enforcement and Judicial System in Sindh”. This is an Internship Opportunities for Women final year law students and fresh law graduate in Sindh. This internship project is supported by USAID under Gender Equity Program of Aurat Foundation. Under this project LRF also arrange Mock Courts and exposure visits in different places i.e. Bar Association, Women Jail, Judicial Academy, Police Station, lower court as well as high court premises. These internees will be place on different law firms and governmental law department of Sindh for nine month. Monthly stipend will be given to selected candidates.  

The main objective of the project is to equip women with legal professional skills to become future women right defender and enable them to Combat Gender Based Violence and to facilitate women participation in law enforcement and judicial system in Sindh as well as policy making concerning women rights.
