This brings an end to the Android Login with PHP MySQL Tutorial. You can download the project from the link below. It contains the test_android folder too that holds the PHP files. Copy it into the xampp->htdocs folder! Good Luck.
I found a hack. I deleted the first project. Started a new project, moved all .HTML files into the www folder. Then I imported my android folder into Android studio and I emulate and build it directly from Android studio. I still get the error message from Wappler.
Actually you can build a website via notepad apps in tablets and NO there is not a XAMPP app for tablets except windows 8 tablets. BUT there are other types of server apps like XAMPP for android tablets.
Hi, by default the serve command serves to the browser, in case of chrome it shows the style for IOS, but when you deploy to Android the styles changes to adapt to Material Design, which is the default native style for Android, if you want to see how would it look on both devices in the browser use --lab or configure the emulator of chrome with an android devise or an IOS device as needed.
Hi, With the --lab parameter the app looks good at both android and iOS.
Actually the app looks good at real iOS device, but not android device.
Text of buttons is not aligned to center and images (at /img folder) are not even displayed.
I am wondering if I need to add some plugins or change configuration to android.
Thanks.
In this chapter , we are going to explain, how you can integrate PHP and MYSQL with your android application. This is very useful in case you have a webserver, and you want to access its data on your android application.
Developing android projects plays a vital role in the life of an android developer because android development projects, ranging from beginner to advanced level, are not only the best but also the easiest way to learn android. All you need to develop an Android application is the basic know-how and an understanding of the languages Java and Kotlin. Earlier Java was the official language for Android which changed to Kotlin in 2017. But you can use any of the languages to build android applications. So before you get a hands-on experience of the real world, start with some sample android projects to get the gist of what goes into creating and executing them. Following in the article are the top 15 android projects along with their source code that you must take up in order to polish your skills.
Android project idea: The next android project idea is to build a food delivery application for passengers traveling long distances by train. Since not everyone likes the food served at railway stations, it is always a good option to order food online and make the journey even more pleasant. This application would require three modules- the restaurant/café, the delivery person, and the passengers. All three would be able to log in to the application. After logging in they will be prompted for user role selection.
The next advanced android project idea is the E-banking application. This application would work as the moderator between the users and banks. The users can create and maintain their accounts, set or change passwords and avail themselves of the bank facilities without having to go there physically. They can transfer money online and their transactions will be saved in the application. The app will start out with a login screen, in which the user can either log in with an existing profile or click a button and create a new profile. When signed in, the user will be brought to their dashboard page and will be prompted to make their first account. Additionally, there will be a menu that includes all of the options for the app, including Dashboard, Account Overview (and subsequently Transactions), Deposits, Payments, Transfers, Profile Settings, and Logout.
What do you like best about the product?Genymotion is very easy to use to begin with. It also gives developers access to different devices of different android versions that consumes less ram than android avds in android studio. Genymotion also lets me to easily set dummy device location while testing location aware mobile applications. What do you dislike about the product?Genymotion is the best alternative to the slow android avds in android studio. It saves me time so I would only reccommend it to those still using android studio avds instead of genymotion. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?I have used Genymotion in building, debugging and testing android applications. Its easy to integrate with the current version of android studio, its fast not like the android emulators thats comes with android studio, its easy to add new devices and its also easy to install gapps.Recommendations to others considering the product:If you are looking for a faster android emulator to test, build and debugg android applications just go for genymotion. Its faster and easily integrates with android studio. In short am just trying to help you save time and increase productivity.
What do you like best about the product?I have been using genymotion for more than three years now while developing android applications with android studio. Genymotion consumes less computer resources compared to other android virtual devices and also emulates most of device features. In the current edition genymotion is also easy to connect with local web servers such as wamp, xampp and lamp. Its also easy to add more android virtual devices to test an android application in as many android versions as possible. What do you dislike about the product?Genymotion is my favorite android emulator and I do not find anything I dislike in it. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Genymotion have been an important tool whenever we are developing android applications. Its makes the processes of testing and debugging very easy making every develper more productive.Recommendations to others considering the product:Genymotion is the best android emulator to use while debugging and testing android applications. It consumes less computer resourses and avails many real android devices to a developer.
What do you like best about the product? It's easy to use. It's really amazing how quickly you can setup an android simulator and start testing any code. Genymotion offers a lot of speed and stability.
I'ts great that it works on Windows, Linux and Mac. Installation is super easy, however you must have Oracle's VirtualBox on your machine.
What do you dislike about the product?First of all, I don't like the fact that you have to create an account to use the free version even if this version has so many limitations for development options.
It's not available for older versions of Windows (XP/VIsta) or any 32 bit Windows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Testing and debugging.
There is no better and faster emulator.Recommendations to others considering the product:If you need a great, speed and efficient tool for Android Developer.
It's also a very good tool for a Virtual Android.
Doesn't work for production.
What do you like best about the product?I like genymotion because it is an application excelent when I want to play my favorites games in Android from my computer directly. In genymotion is posible emulate any smarthphone and version of Android. Also it is the only one working with Linux SO.What do you dislike about the product? Some versions of android available don't have gapps compatible. This is a problem when I want to install some applications or games using google play. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Genymotion is very important for testing Android apps from my computer with Linux Mint OS, especially because this Emulator is the only one that working on Linux in this moment.Recommendations to others considering the product:I would recommend that minimize increasingly using RAM memory.
What do you like best about the product?I really love how quickly I can set up an android emulator and start testing my code. I can select from a myriad of devices to emulate, which mostly just changes a "skin" that wraps the phone and the resolution that the app(s) run in. Very quick to get started. What do you dislike about the product?I can't stand how limited the free version is for development. I can't save any kind of settings (like a location on the GPS between different sessions of testing). I considered buying a license to get unrestricted, but the price of the license was too high to justify an annual subscription. I would have preferred to purchase the software outright over subscribing at such an astronomical price. Also, it turns out that the emulator runs android in x86 mode only as opposed to emulating a mobile process, which leads to phantom bugs that don't show in the emulator but do show on device. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?I'm able to test android software quickly and efficiently.Recommendations to others considering the product:It's quick and easy to get up and running since all you have to do is select which device you want to emulate, and initially it was faster to run apps in Genymotion because it ran Android in x86 mode as opposed to trying to emulate a mobile processor. However, the native android emulator provided with the android SDK has advanced leaps and bounds in the last year and a half and can perform emulated mobile processor at a much faster speed now, and is just as easy to get started with. There is no longer a need to use Genymotion, and it's far too expensive to get started with. They will only continue to increase their pricing because with the free (and better) Android SDK emulator being available for commercial use Genymotion will need to price gauge their existing customers to stay in business.
