It's been a while since I last posted . . . I've been exploring new territories and completing some portraits I started some time ago.

I love painting faces and so few appear in my larger works that I dedicate a little time each year to concentrate on portraits alone.

This one is Charlie Stock of "The Irrepressibles".

I went to see The Irrepressibles perform at their album launch show in the Queen Elizabeth Hall at the famous Southbank Centre in London last month. They were excellent and the album is wonderful . . . check them out.

This painting has been accepted for The Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition 2010  at the Mall galleries:
6th May 2010 to 21st May 2010
10am-5pm including weekends and public holidays
Open to 7pm Tuesdays & Thursdays
Entry is £2.50, concessions £1.50

Photo: Snapped in my stydio as not enough time to get a professional photographer in.
