PAIN JOURNAL CLUB 2020 - Spring Semester

Dear all, Happy New Year, we are excited to have everyone back and announce our next Journal club sessions.

For this semester I will run the Journal Club with help from Janjic Lab PhD Student Sherlock Liu, while Ben enjoys his sabbatical break. 

Our first Journal club will be held at noon (12:00PM) on January 13th (Monday) in 202 Mellon Hall 

and is presented by our Retta Marie Martin, MS, OTR/L

She will discuss an area of high interest to all of us - pediatric pain. 

The paper is attached. 

In February (no JClub is held) we invite you all to the Pharmacy School seminar instead titled:

 “Angiotensin signaling and neuro-immune crosstalk in chronic pain.”

Presented by Dr. Andrew Shepherd from MD Anderson, Huston

Snacks and drinks will be provided (please bring your own lunch).

I am looking for volunteers for sessions in March, April, May and June, please email me if you are interested in presenting.
