Hi All,
On Monday July 9, Dr. Yarimar Carrasquillo, intramural investigator at NCCIH, will be giving a special seminar at 12pm (location likely Mellon 202).
Dr. Carrasquillo uses a mix of behavioral, physiological, and microscopy tools to investigate the amygdala in somatic and visceral pain.
There will be a breakfast for graduate students to meet with Dr. Carrasquillo from 9-10am please let me know if you would like to attend.
Faculty - I have a number of open slots for faculty to meet with Dr. Carrasquillo in the morning from 10-11:30am. We will also be going out to dinner on Tuesday July 10 night at 6pm if you are interested in joining.

Hi All,
Next week on
Tuesday 6/12 we will have Dr. Jolie Schafer giving a talk about CGRP and its role in migraine. Her presentation will start at 12 diving into more of the deeper understanding of the mechanisms and underlying connections. The presentation will be in Mellon 410, it is the large classroom at the top of the stairwell towards the football field side.
Light lunch and snacks will be served. Please feel free to share amongst your lab mates and departments.
