Salaam to All,

Congratulations on the Arrival of the Sacred Month of Rajab.
Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) used to welcome this month by saying:
اللّهمّ بارك لنا في رجب و شعبان وبلّغنا رمضان
"O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha'ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan.
There are some extremely happy occasions in this month including:
1- The first Thursday of Rajab: Lailatol-Raghaeb (the night of hopes, wishes and special prayers)
2- Rajab 13th: Birthday of a man who declared his faith in the mission of the prophet, while he was only 8 years old! The man who became the brother of the prophet, the birthday of Imam Ali(AS)
3- Rajab 27th the occasion of Isrâ' and Meraaj which refer to a miraculous night journey of the Prophet, from Mecca to Jerusalem and up out to the Lord’s Kingdom.
4- Also based on some Ahadith on the 27th the first 5 verses of chapter of Al-Alagh were revealed to the prophet. So that is the Day of Prophethood.
Month of Rajab is a good opportunity for spiritual preparation for the following Shabaan and Ramadan. Let’s fast at least every Thursday of this month and have a potluck Iftar at IHW. Let’s start from this Thursday, the Night of Raghaeb. Let’s our wishes focus on peace, specially for the burning Muslim umma in the Middle East and Africa.
In addition to Salat of "Ragha'ib for this Thursday, let’s recite Salawaat on Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) as many times possible.
اللھم صل علی محمد النبي الامي وعلی آله
الطاهرين
Also reciting this doua as much as we can.
سبوح قدوس رب الملائكة والروح
Holy and most Holy is the Lord of the Angels and sprit.
It’s interesting that even the pre-Islamic Arabs (the Arabs of Jahiliyya) dropped their wars during the Month of Rajab out honoring this month, but the new Jahiliyya of Hijaz, the Saudi regime continues its barbaric bloodshed despite of all prohibitions! Its an unjust war, based on money. Its not a holy war, its an oppressive war with evil intentions!
Apparently the Sharia law of the age of jaheliyya was more advanced than the Saudis Sharia law!!
Their understanding and the understanding of their paid Mofties reject the sacredness of Rajab, so they use their F 15s from the air and their ISIS and Alqaeda poppets from the ground to murder more Yemenis men, women and children.
Let’s pray for peace in Yemen, Syria, Libya, Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan and other suffering nations.
Hope see you all with ur potluck iftar this Thursday (Night of Raghaeb) no later than 8:30 pm.
