I replaced the Lid Switch and verified it is working with my meter. I pressed the start button and the panel gave me the Lid Locked light and it locked the lid, plus started draining water that was still inside. I flip the fill knob so it would fill with water and it did, but it did not start to agitate the clothes.

The next day I press the start button and can hear a click when the dial is set to spin or drain, but the green sensing light just flashes, I can also press start again and the sensing light will go solid, but no other lights and still nothing works. No drain, no fill, no lid lock, nothing but the click. I did verify with my meter that the lid switch is still working.

I am also having issue with my maytag top loading centennial washer. I depress start button, green sensor light all the way on left flashes, red lid lock sensor comes on and then nothing happens. any thoughts.

@ladytech my whirlpool washer won't progress past the wash stage. When I put it in diagnostic mode, the sensing fill, cycle complete and rinse cycle blink on and off once, followed by the final spin and cycle complete lights blinking on and off together once...any ideas? Hard reset doesn't work

My sensing light started flashing right after the drum was done filling with water and would not progress any further. I unplugged, and plugged back in and voila! Jackpot! Washer was back in business.

I can check the voltage to the pump tonight. I did already install a brand new pump since I have started trouble shooting this. I was previously having a grinding and leaking out of the bottom. Changed that out then changed the inlet outlet because of the ie code.

@Billy Savage it could be the motor sensor detected a problem. Mid way through the cycle could be at tge start of a drain There could be a problem with your drain valve. There should be a tech manual attached to the inside of the front panel. Tilt tge washer back then look up the inside and tapped to the inside front cabinet you should see it. It has detaile instructions to put it in diagnostic tests abd trouble shooting.

1) Unplug machine. 2) Change wash setting to Drain and Spin. 3) Move Auto Sensing dial to Deep Water Wash. 4 ) Plugged back in the pressed Start. It started and made noises, so 4) unplug. 5) Changed wash indicator to Normal. 5) Replugged in 6) Pressed Start and now it is filling up.

The outer packaging meant to prevent access to the contents can split open near the zipper track, posing a risk of serious injury to children and other vulnerable populations if the contents of the laundry detergent packets are ingested, as well as posing a risk of skin or eye injuries. This recall involves certain lot codes of Tide Pods, Gain Flings, Ace Pods, and Ariel Pods liquid laundry detergent packets packaged in flexible film bags that were manufactured between September 2023 and February 2024. Recalled products range from bags with 12 to 39 laundry detergent packets and include the following:

Consumers should immediately secure the recalled bags out of sight and reach of children and contact Procter & Gamble for a full refund and a free replacement child-resistant bag to store the product. Consumers can also receive a cabinet lock for securing laundry materials.

Consumers should check to see if their bag is part of the recall by checking the lot code on their bag. Recalled lot codes will be listed at pg.com/bags and are found on the bottom of the package. Consumers with recalled bags can submit a photo of the recalled product, showing the lot code to participate in the recall.

No confirmed cases directly relating to this packaging defect. The firm has received four reports of children in the United States accessing the liquid laundry packets, three of which reported ingestion during the time period that the recalled lots were sold, but it is not known if these laundry packets came from recalled bags.

The portable fuel bottles do not meet the child-resistant requirements for closures under the Children's Gasoline Burn Prevention Act (CGBPA). The closure for the products is not child-resistant, posing a risk of burn and poisoning to children.

Modern laundry detergent sheets offer countless benefits compared to more traditional methods of washing your clothes. Below, we'll outline some of the most valuable and how they may improve your laundry routine.

In addition to their eco-friendly ingredient lists, laundry sheets remove the need for traditional, bulky packaging like plastic jugs or cartons. Instead, we use compostable, plastic-free packaging, and the laundry sheets themselves are made with OECD 301b-certified biodegradable ingredients.

Due to the nature of their design, laundry detergent sheets prevent the spills or leaks that are all too common with liquid detergent. Instead, you can simply pull one laundry sheet from their neat, compact packaging to use with each load, then tuck your detergent sheets back away until the next time they're needed.

Cleaning power reigns supreme when it comes to detergents, both with laundry sheets and liquid laundry detergents. Our formula uses seven powerful plant-based surfactants and other natural cleaning agents to destroy tough stains and clean your laundry as well as any detergent on the market.

Additionally, our laundry detergent sheets work with all of the same fabrics as a traditional detergent. Still, always check the tags of your clothing to see if any special care or considerations are needed.

Across the board, laundry detergent sheets boast a dramatically smaller eco-footprint compared to traditional detergents. While this primarily has to do with the use of streamlined, recyclable packaging instead of heavy plastic containers, it's also from the use of natural ingredients in place of harsh, synthetic chemicals.

By choosing eco-friendly alternatives like laundry detergent sheets, you can do your part in the fight against pollution while also enjoying all the quality of life improvements offered by a high-quality product.

Even so, this focus on natural ingredients should never come at the cost of cleaning power. That's why we use seven powerful, plant-based surfactants to help remove stains, destroy lingering smells, and keep your laundry looking, smelling, and feeling as fresh as possible.
