You can activate your new SIM card by dialling 1907. You will need your new SIM card number to hand to do this. If you are a Bill pay customer you will also need your self-service PIN to complete this task.

When you buy a new SIM card, it needs to be activated before you can make any calls or send an SMS. Once you receive your new SIM card, the SIM activation is done within a few hours without any activation charges. SIM activation for new SIM cards( first time use) is done in-store by our executives or at the time of SIM home delivery by our delivery agent.

Yes, it's easy to find Vodafone retail locations in Portugal. We have stores throughout the country, as well as mobile phone kiosks at airports and train stations. You can also purchase a Vodafone prepaid mobile SIM card online through the company's website.

Upon arriving in Portugal, you can purchase a mobile SIM card at any Vodafone store. Vodafone also offers the option to buy a physical SIM card online and pick it up at a physical store or purchase your virtual eSIM online and receive it in your email.

If you prefer the convenience of having a mobile SIM card before arriving in Portugal, Vodafone offers you the option to purchase online and collect it at Vodafone kiosks inside the airports or you can buy an eSIM (virtual SIM) and have it delivered to your email. You have placed the order but your service has not been activated, before you are able to set up and log on to your online account you will need to wait until your service is fully active on the network.

As @AnnS advised above, in order to be able to access your online account you'll need an active service on the account. As soon as your Broadband services are active you'll be able to log in
