Unless someone reverse-engineered the protocol of your specific mouse and put a driver on Github or somewhere else (use your favorite websearch) you are out of luck. For example I know there's a tool for Logitech G300 models.
When I try to troubleshoot it I get the error 'USB input device can't work properly with USB 3.0' even though it is plugged into the USB 2.0 socket. Previously my ancient Microsoft mouse worked fine in the same socket.
I would also suggest please update the BIOS, and Chipset drivers on your PC from our HP support website, using this link.Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
