However, based on the image shared these Intel processes are almost 0% the issue with your fan may be related to dust stock in your vents. I recommend you check with the laptop manufacturer to get instructions on how to clean your system.

L Intel Capability Licensing Service TCP IP Interface - DISABLED - The associated software, Intel Capability Licensing Service TCP IP Interface, is used to provide security services for Intel applications. It's part of the Intel Trusted Connect Service Client, which helps to establish secure connections between Intel hardware and software.

L Intel Content Protection HDCP Service - DISABLED - High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) is a copy-protection scheme to eliminate the possibility of capturing digital content from the source to the display. It is designed to protect digital signals when using a Digital Video Interface (DVI) and High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI). I haven't watched a DVD/BluRay in 10+ years. It's all online now.

L Intel Dynamic Application Loader Host Interface Service - DISABLED - provides a secure place for java programs to run. Do any java-based programs actually use this "container"? I don't know. The Intel(R) Dynamic Application Loader Host Interface Service process running in Task Manager is a vital component of Intel Rapid Storage Technology. It provides a user-friendly interface for managing storage-related tasks, optimizing performance, and enhancing data protection. So you only need it I guess if Storage Middleware Service is running?

L Intel Storage Middleware Service - MANUAL - It provides improved performance and reliability for computers that are equipped with SATA disks. I run NVMe based storage so I don't use this service.

L Intel SGX App Enclave Services Manager - AUTOMATIC - Intel Security Guard Extensions (SGX) became available with the Skylake processor family. Intel SGX aims to provide an additional security layer that prevents malicious software execution even with admin privileges.

In short, it kind of feels like Intel starts many of these services to service their OWN applications/programs. If you're not running their applications then it makes no sense to have some of these services going.

Don't quote me on any of this. You may find things don't work if you do disable them. I find it best to disable, wait, and see if things in my normal everyday use routine are no longer working. The above works for me.

C. Cancellation. This instruction replaces the memorandum ofDecember 11, 1992 regarding Hepatitis B vaccinations. That memorandum servedas interim guidance while this Exposure Control Plan was under development.

After you have determined whether there are contra indications tovaccination of this OSHA employee with Hepatitis B vaccine, please state inthe space below only (A) if vaccine was indicated (B) if vaccine wasreceived

This OSHA employee may have suffered an exposure incident as defined in theBloodborne Pathogens Standard. In accordance with the standard's provisionfor post exposure evaluation and follow up, the employee presents to you forevaluation. Included to assist you in this evaluation are:

Prior to departing for an inspection where occupational exposure to blood orother potentially infectious materials is reasonably anticipated, the CSHOshould have the following materials to carry on the inspection:

According to the publicly available specifications for the Sigma chip; the video hardware contained within the Sigma chip conform strictly to the international professional digital video and TV standards. Any deviation from the digital standards; the video will not play.

The movie industry has realised that the encryption keys can be detected and removed. What they are now doing is copy protection during the authoring process. Unfortunately; most of the guides relating to movie authoring have been removed from sites like Doom9, Afterdawn, Digital Digest, etc.

There are many bluray titles appearing on the market that do not contain a main movie m2ts. The movie is in sections and not in chronological order. Wall.E is a prime example. Do a virgin bluray rip of Wall.E and use ImgBurn to make an ISO file. The movie starts playing; it stalls, plays, loses audio and skips sections.

There are a number of bluray re-authoring programs on the market that are supposed to detect the encryption keys removal and re-author the bluray. Some work better than others. I gave up, I play bluray movies from a dedicated movie computer.

I just bought a few items from Line 6 Marketplace. The downloads are zip files that only include .hir files when extracted. There are no wav files. I try to import them to my Helix used the edit software and I get an error warning that to install premium IR's I need to authorize my computer. It conveniently asks if I would like to authorize my computer. I click "Yes" and then nothing happens. My computer is authorized, my downloads are registered and I updated the edit software to the latest 2.71 version. I can't find any information about these .hir files. Changing the file extensions to .wav gets the same result. What's going on here!?

Are you signed into your account on HX Edit? On the lower right hand corner of the HX Edit window, you'll see "My Account". Click it and hit sign in, and you'll be asked to enter your Line6.com login info.

FYI, the reason re-naming the .hir to .wav didn't work is because .hir is likely an encrypted copy of the WAV (maybe with some extra information). Once imported and decrypted by authorized software (Edit), it would then be possible to freely export as a proper WAV.

You can't export the .hir files as wav files. The .hir files are copy-protected the Marketplace DRM scheme. That's why you have be signed into your Line 6 account to load them. The licenses for them are tied to your account, and without the license you can't load them.

Aren't the IRs available in the Helix Marketplace provided by third parties? I don't think they are Line 6 products although Line 6 supports the marketplace. I guess it's up to the providers to determine whether the sauce is special. Of course Line 6 still supports the loading of IRs from other providers; it's just that they supporting the DRM for (hence protecting the IP of) the Helix Marketplace providers. Most IR providers choose not to establish a DRM system for whatever reason. For instance, if I were unscrupulous I could easily share my purchased IRs from other providers to all my friends.

Yeah, I can see that. Maybe (and this is pure speculation on my part) the DRM is intended to encourage more providers to put the effort into creating really good IRs. They have some protection against piracy.

Edit: An afterthought.... what if established IR providers (Sigma, Ownhammer, ...) were to start using Helix Marketplace as a distribution channel? I expect Line 6 withholds an admin fee for the Marketplace which would reduce the providers' profit margin but maybe the DRM would more than recoup that, assuming a reduction in lost sales due to piracy. Of course, the Marketplace would still only apply to a small portion of their customers (Helix users) so probably not worthwhile.

You do not mention a port mirror - a port mirror is required to soruce the traffic and copy it to the destination (in your case the 3 VMs). Using 3 VMs is an added challenge - you might need 3 port mirrors. you could source the vlan or juts the pfsense port-group, the desitnaiotn will be a new distributed port for your VMs.

If it is not fully working as expected did you enable promiscuos mode on the actual virtual switch (not just the port groups)? promiscuos mode on the vswitch will effectively turn it into a hub so traffic is sent to every port - then by defualt every port group on the vswitch will recieve the traffic (if not manually overridden).
