Dear Relatives, Friends and Acquaintances,

Many of you know that I often run the Boston Marathon, and today was no exception.  Fortunately for us I crossed the finish line 27 minutes ahead of the bombs.  Rita and I and our friends are all OK as we try to cope with the horrific terrorist activity here today.

Although I intended to solicit your support for the American Liver Foundation, I would ask that you support the charity of your choice.  Perhaps you can find a cause that will assist the families of those killed or injured today.
