First race of the 2011 season

Hi Runners,

This Saturday at 8:00am, the Pagosa Area Running Club will be hosting its first race of 2011!  

We will meet at Ed Furtaws home located at 380 Coronado Circle.  Take N. Pagosa all the way to Coronado circle--turn left, and drive till you see 380 Coronado.  

Jurgen and I ran the course last Saturday, and it was super fun.  There is some water on the trail in four places I could remember, but if you slow down and skirt it, you and the trail will be okay. 

The course is relatively flat and fast with some rocky areas to keep things interesting!  This will be a great first race as you will not have to work too hard to make great times.

Don't forget to time yourself and log your time in the notebook at the end of the race course in order to secure your bragging rights!

On another note, I would like to start diverting all email traffic to the word press run club website to avoid confusion and redundancy. Also, for those of you who find getting too many run club emails annoying, the communication via the word press site will put a stop to emails in your inbox.  All you will have to do now is log on and read the comments.

I will be phasing out the gmail account once I see that most run club posts are on the word press site.  

I will let you know when the gmail account is no longer in use.

listing says 9:00 AM. Please let us all know for sure what time the
run starts.
