Here is some good news for you!  Happy running!

Pagosa Racers Special!

GECKO works had to put on great races, provide cool shirts and swag and promote our events as

well as we possibly can. It costs a lot to make this happen and our entry fee's reflect that...

Additionally, all of our profits go to scholarships and support our great cause of "Giving Every Child

Knowledge of the Outdoors!"

That said, we truly appreciate the support we get locally, our volunteers and our local running community

so we would like to offer a discount to local runners for the upcoming Turkey Track Trail Marathon and 1/2

marathon. From Today until Friday June 3rd the 1/2 marathon price will be $25(versus $45) and the marathon

will be $38 (versus $60).

To take advantage of this special please visit the HUB bike shop uptown and fill out a registration form and pay 

by cash or check. Please be respectful that this offer is for locals that live here in town. 

We really appreciate your participation and support  and we look forward to seeing you on the trails!

It’s that time again!   GECKO is looking for volunteers to help with the race series again this year.  The money we raised last year helped provide scholarships for 5 Pagosa students to attend NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) classes this summer.  So far things are looking good.  Pre-race registrations are up over last year and we’re expecting a good crowd of locals and visitors for the races this year.

 

The first GECKO race of the year will be the Turkey Track Trail on Saturday June 11.  The race will begin at 8 AM and should end around 3 PM.  We will need volunteers for :

 

Thursday evening – assemble race packets and get ready for registration from 6-8 PM.

 

Friday evening – pre-race packet pickup at the Hub Bike Shop from 5-8 PM

 

Saturday – race day volunteers for parking, aide stations, and timing .  Any time you have available will be valuable.
