Very different results with each test

I'm just curious if everyone gets really different results every time they run their site through pagespeed insights.  I recently updated my page and without any changes to the site my mobile score ranges from 55-85.  Most of the time it is around 70, but sometimes it's quite a bit higher or lower.  Seems very odd given nothing is being updated on my home page.  The opportunities seem to change each time also.  My score was 67 when I started typing this and now I checked again and it is 73.  Is this normal?  I am really curious why this happens as I'd much prefer to get the 85 score all the time.

I get wildly different results each time I test often with none or very little change to my site.  At the same time GT Metrix gives me consistent results over a long period and when I make a change it reflects in the score. At this point I trust GT Metrix more than I do pagespeed which I think is not ready for primetime.

the score is get down and keep changing ... I'll stop using it

A lot of times your host might take longer to respond than other times. This usually happens with cheap / starter hosting. I recommend sticking to VPS hosting
