Page Speed for Firefox... What about Chrome?

I think it's great that Google is focused on making the web faster.
But why is it that they're supporting the Firefox browser and not
their own Chrome? I love Chrome because it's so fast - so start
supporting your own app Google! I would have downloaded Page Speed a
minute ago if you would have made a plug-in that works with Chrome.

Bryan,
Page Speed only runs in Firefox, but the recommendations it makes
apply to all browsers. In fact, several rules are there to avoid IE
specific issues.

Chrome did not exist when we started writing Page Speed. There is
no way to write an extension for Chrome yet. They are working on it:

When Chrome has a extension API, we will consider porting Page Speed to Chrome.
