Recently pagespeed insights fails for our domain https://www.iconexperience.com  with the message "Decoding the main resource failed. Please ensure the page loads properly in a browser."

I have conducted the following tests:

- Rendering in Browser (tested with Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer)
   No issues
- HTML validation with https://validator.w3.org/
Test runs though, only minor warnings reported (The type attribute is unnecessary for JavaScript resources)
- Fetch as Google in Search Console
   No issues
- Checked current status in Search Console
No server errors, DNS/Server connectivity/Robots.txt fetch ok
- Conducted test on https://gtmetrix.com/
   Tests run through without problems

What could be the issue here? The problem is that Pagespeed Insight does not provide any useful information beside the mentioned error message. Also, Pagespeed was working for a short moment this morning, but since then I see the error again, without having changed anything on our website.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Jan

At least as of today, this doesn't seem to be an issue anymore: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.iconexperience.com
