Search console is flagging a page URL with?flypage= on the end of it. As far as I can tell flypage 'might' be rellated to the Virtuemart product. Which is what the original site waas done in.
This is turn links to an https version of the same url but without the ?flypage= on the end.
Neither page has existed for years and the flypage= never did.
Googlebot couldn't crawl this URL because it points to a non-existent
page. Generally, 404s don't harm your site's performance in search, but
you can use them to help improve the user experience.
Why does Google come out with spurious junk like this, If I can't pin it down (because it does not exist) I can't remove it.
Any thoughts on old site content, it is NOT found anywhere in the Google index so it is a little odd.
Anyone had anything similar happen?
Thanks.
