I think I have misread the intent of your service.
Here is what I assumed:
1.
http://page2rss.com/api/lookup?url=google.com/
returns a url
http://page2rss.com/rss/ff90821feeb2b02a33a6f9fc8e5f3fcd
2. This url will always contain content in rss format
It sounds like #2 is "The url will contain content ONLY if
it has changed from the last scan".
Just fyi, I use tts to read this content back to cellphone
users. If you return "The page hasnt changed..."
maybe I should then use a different url to get the
unchanged content??
