Multiple Items in RSS Feed

Hello all, I am literally brand new to xml and RSS. When I subscribe
to a feed I have written, It lists the items I have written in the
code. For example lets say three items. If I modify the code
(manually), duplicate items display. For example my feed shows 5
items, yet the code has only three.
Any help would be appreciated.
