Hello out there,
I switched from php5.x to 7.0. Now I get the information from Page Speed that the site should be compressed with gzip. Hostwise it is given and a plugin does its job: I see it in the htaccess file.
AND last but not least, the test page http://www.gziptest.com/ says my site IS gzip-compressed!!? So why PS does not recognize the compression?
On PageSpeed this is but the first and most heavy weighting issue so I cannot ignore it.
Has anyone has the same problem and a solution for it?
Would be very thankful!!
Best wishes
Ulf

This is a group for the now defunct page speed hosted service

You possibly looking for the Insights group? (the testing tool)

Woudl suggest posting there. But you will need to include a link to your site. Kind hard to diagnose without being able to see the issue.
