check

What steps will reproduce the problem? If possible, include the full Url
of any web page you see a problem on.
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I am expecting other Google related API's to pass cache validation.

The following resources are missing a cache validator. Resources that do
not specify a cache validator cannot be refreshed efficiently. Specify a
Last-Modified or ETag header to enable cache validation for the following
resources:
http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Nunito:400,300,700

If you are using Page Speed for Chrome,
What version of Chrome are you using? (Type 'about:' in the address bar.)

Google Chrome 21.0.1180.79 (Official Build 151411) m

What version of Page Speed are you using? (Follow the procedure to get the
Firebug version, and look for 'Page Speed' in the list of extensions.)

2.0.1.0

What operating system are you using?

Windows 8 x64 Release Preview Evaluation copy. Build 8400

Please provide any additional information below.

This was an issue on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate as well, so should not be
operating system related.

Likely it is similar to the browser caching issue for other Google
resources in which the team responsible for web fonts will need to make a
change request.

Comment #1 on issue 954 by tinker...@gmail.com: fonts.googleapis.com fails
I get the same thing when using webfonts. When you pull in multiple fonts,
e.g:

<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Rock+Salt|
Architects+Daughter' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css' />

A refresh is rather ugly on slower connections and pagespeed picks it up.
How often are these actually updated?

Bump, this is laughable, speed tests should not be complaining about
resources served from Google.
