This week is Concert Week! We will have a limited rehearsal schedule due to the concert and the PreACT administration.

For the concert, audience seating will not be provided; the area in front of our performance is a lawn, and we encourage you to bring lawn chairs/blankets for seating. The concert will last approximately 1 hour.

All Band Class Ensembles will need their Concert Black attire for Wednesday's concert. As a reminder, any student not dressed appropriately cannot participate in the performance:

Concert Black Attire

Standard concert dress provides a formal, uniform look for the ensemble that does not detract from the performance of the music or draw attention to the individual. Concert attire at Page follows the established standard in use by many professional, semi-professional, and amateur ensembles from across the world. This dress code is known as "Concert Black." As the name suggests, the defining feature of this dress code is that it is all black, without adornment of any kind. Regardless of personal style, gender, religious expression or other factors, attire is expected to be formal & modest.

Students are free to choose the components of their concert black dress within the following guidelines:

• black dress pants, slacks, skirt, or dress (skirt length is at the knee or longer)

• black dress shirt, blouse, or dress (avoid particularly low necklines)

• black socks or black opaque stockings/tights

• black dress shoes (heels are not recommended, particularly for performers who stand to perform)

Please avoid the following items, even if they are black:

• jeans, sweats, warm-up pants, yoga pants, leggings, miniskirts, or shorts

• t-shirts, tank tops, spaghetti straps, halter tops, or crop tops

• flip-flops, slippers, crocs, sports shoes, sneakers, black shoes with colored stripes or logos

• white socks, colored socks, bare legs, or bare feet
