This announcement came in after the February issue of News and Notes was sent out... it contains information about webinars for classrooms focusing on Women in STEM.

Dear friends of WiSci Files:

Thank you for your continued support of the Women in Science Profiles (WiSci Files) project! We hope you have enjoyed watching the WiSci Files videos at wpsu.org/wiscifiles    

The interactive online chats are scheduled as followed:

• Thursday February 16, 10:50 – 11:20 am: Carolina Pulido
• Friday February 24, 12:30 – 1:00 pm: Elena Zavala
• Wednesday March 1, 3:45 – 4:15 pm: Felecia Davis
• Thursday March 16, 1:00-1:30 pm: Erica Smithwick
• TBD: Michelle Orner

Prior to the chat, please:

1. Watch the video profile(s) of the scientist(s) to your students/group members
2. Prepare some questions to ask the scientist.

To log in to the chats, there are 2 options:

Suggestions for participating in the chats:

1. Type your questions into the comment box, one at a time.
2.  Include your name with your question

Please note: During each chat, you can communicate with the scientist by typing questions into the comment box, which she will respond to as they come in. You will be able to see and hear her, but she will not be able to see or hear you.
