Hindu Mandir of Lake County is celebrating Thai poosam for Lord Subrahmanya/Karthik on Saturday Feb 8th from 10:30 am to 12 Noon.

We will have abhisheka kalasa procession ( Pal Kudam) followed by Sankalpam, abhishekam, Shasti kavasam  parayanam.

We will have Thirupugazh recital by Lake county Thiruppugazh Group led by Cuddalore Kumar during alankaram followed by archana and  Prasdam (Lunch at auditorium).

We request you all to come and particpate, show your support  and get the blessings of Lord Muruga. 

Please be there by 10:15 am to start the program on time and for doing sankalpam so we can start by 10:30.

If we start on time we can listen to more numbers of Thiruppugazh songs before final Aarathi.

Please bring your Thiruppugazh books or you can use Kaumaram.com. List of Songs is enclosed.

Please see attached flier for teh Maha Shivrathri Program and the General info document about bus service etc. Please read teh doc fully for instructions.

This year we have Shivrathri Friday night to Saturday am,  a  rare opportunity for you to sponsor and participate in the whole night Pooja and Bajans.

We have consulted with Temple to keep it open all night and poojas have been arranged.

During 3rd Kala ( Sat 2- 3am) ,3rd Kala Abhisheka sponsors and all night sponsors can do abhishekam for Small Pooja Shiva Linga.

Temple is looking into, all night participation by devotees,  so thet they can take decision for coming years to keep temple open all night or not.

So please do come, sponsor for all night and stay back until 6am so you get the full blessings of Lord Shiva during this once a year auspicious celebration.

All night sponsor- $201; Each Kala abhishekam $51; Each Archana $25 ; Small linga Milk  abhishekam - $5; Please contact office for sponsor ship.

Hope we will have office  volunteers available in temple hall to collect sponsor ship and issue tickets. Please show your support to the temple.

The following may be available  Bilva leaves ($2) Upavas food ($3) and Tea ($1)  during Shivarthri. Please contact office.
