Dear Dr.KK Agarwal,
I wish the entire team All the very best.
My suggestion for IMA would be to take up a mega project of " Cure in India" in sync with "Make in India".
For this we need to have Tax breaks and subsidies for Healthcare. Healthcare should be treated as Infra structure.
Retrograde rules of banning transplants on foreign nationals are being introduced.
Clinical trails are very difficult now a days.
New drugs routinely being used overseas not getting Drug Controller Approvals.
Service tax should be totally removed from all healthcare activities.
Secondly IMA should focus on helping its members
We should focus on Ease of Doing Medical Business and remove hurdles like
CPA being used without cause by patients
Import duties on all Medical equipment should be abolished
Octrois on equipments moving into states should be removed
Day Care centres Registrations
Tpa 's reducing prices
Non Registration of Chemist Shops in Nursing Homes on floors apart from Ground Floor.
IMA should become a bigger pressure group for the medicos and take up their day to day issues with the government

Sorry I shall not be able to attend today's meeting but my support is always with you.
Warm Regards and a Happy New Year
