Union Dam Flowage - Logging History

Hi all, I've been considering heading back to the 10 Mile Stream, north of Sheet Harbour for a paddle. The lower half is a really fun CII river. I'm curious if anyone has intel on the old logging operation at the Union Dam Flowage. I recall there still being some significant infrastructure remaining there today. I'd love to learn more about the area and the logging history.
