Hello paddlers

Just got back from a couple nights on West Roseway Lake. To get there I re-flagged and cut out the 1.6 km portage trail from McGill Lake on the Roseway River to West Roseway Lake. I was in hopes of being able to access Buckshot Lake on the Shelburne River but due to time constraints only paddled to the north end of the big stillwater above West Roseway Lk. Overall nice trip but the portage is indeed a challenging wilderness tobeatic carry!! (lots of 50 yrs old alders pushing back at you).
