A friend and I canoed and portaged
around Webber Lake and McCabe Lake on the lower Sackville River last
Sunday. We visited the falls and the fish ladder behind Hefler Forest Products,
hoping to see some migrating gaspereaux, but the run is over. The flow
wasn't too bad, and we were able to canoe short sections of the
river...
