South Lake, Ingram River

Had a great time camping out on South Lake at the (almost) top of the Ingram System.  Great spot with a number of appealing campsites and portages crosscrossing the area, maintained by CKNS volunteers ;)

The access is easy and pretty close to metro halifax, 55km.  You could get a three day trip out of this area, even longer if you made a loop with Dauphin Mills Lake, Lake Panuke and some ocean paddling.

Very nice!  Doth I see a chimney in yonder tent?  It looks about right to stretch the season with the kids.  Any details available?
