Lawlor Island Beach Cleanup -- Saturday, October 3

    The Friends of McNabs Island are at it again. On Saturday, October 3, they are organizing a cleanup of Lawlor Island, the second largest island in Halifax Harbour. There is no storm date. This will be a much smaller event than the recent 30th annual McNabs Island cleanup for the simple reason that there is not a single dock on Lawlor. Hence larger vessels cannot land there.

    Participants requiring motor boat transportation to the island should register through Eventbrite Halifax at eventbrite.ca . Limit = 50 people. Kayakers and canoeists are heartily invited to take part. They should register through in...@McNabsIsland.ca in order to receive details of the event.
