Hello Diamonds!
I hope you all have been well and are enjoying your Friday. I wanted to let you all know that at the next NNB (National NRHH Board) meeting on January 31, we will be seeing two pieces of legislation.
16-07
This piece, written by Jacqueline from UofO, Will from UCSD, and myself, proposes changing the live-on requirement for induction to 12 weeks. Currently, the policy states it is a semester (15-18 weeks) or can be determined by the regional AD-NRHH to suit your institution's academic calendar, like for quarter schools.
16-08
This piece proposes changing the NRHH Diamond Award Application requirements to a date that does not include a year and changes the question to reflect the values and not the pillars.
I have attached both pieces of legislation here for you to review and discuss with your chapters. If you have any questions about either piece, please let me know.
Please reply by Friday, January 29 at noon with any questions you may have for the authors or discussion points for or against the pieces.
Have a great weekend!
Diamond Love,
Katie Francisco
