Amy, there may be some officer discriptions in the back of your manual.  If not, I will   see what I can do to email something to you....or bring something with me the week after next (I will be gone next Tuesday).  It is really the a fun office and easier than some of the others. If you decide to try this, you will get lots of help from everyone who has done it in the past.  Anyway, we will have to hear back from Rick and then the club will need to have a club vote if he wants to run for President also.  For all the officer positions, the Toastmaster District always has great training classes for one Saturday in July.

I will get back to you ASAP.

Hi everyone-
I appreciate being nominated, but I won't be available next year. I got picked up by an agency and am going on a year-long tour of elementary schools.

I think Amy will be perfect!

Sweet, congratulations Rick.  I hope that doesn’t mean that you won’t be in the group.

PS everyone I stopped by Lucky Lab, and it might be an option, I need to go up the ladder there, and will do that today.

Hey all, I called Lucky Lab and generally their policy is it’s $50.00 to lock the room in for every Tuesday.  That being said the room is usually not used by hardly anyone and we could meet in there, but we would have to leave the door open and if anyone wanted to come in and eat/sitdown they could, especially if it get’s busy during the summer.  I did ask, since they said they cannot reserve it without a rental situation, if we could maybe pay less, but I don’t know what kind of consistent funding we would have for a space.  I know it can’t be much, since we don’t pay much in general.

Anyway if someone could let me know, that would be great.

Thanks,

Here is a the page at Toastmaster's with all the officer's descriptions.  Keep in mind that you can make your role as large or small as needed to fit with your life, schedule, and goals for yourself and the club.
